The Ultravation® whole
house HEPA (high efficiency
particulate air) air cleaners are designed to be integrated
into an HVAC system and come in two sizes. Ultravation®
HEPA brings all the benefits of HEPA's high performance microscopic
particulate capture to an entire household, with no HVAC airflow
restriction. This is accomplished by diverting up to 40% of
primary HVAC air flow through the HEPA filter using a quiet,
reverse impeller blower, and then returning the filtered air
back into the main HVAC air stream (see diagram below).
Ultravation® HEPA filter
media combines state-of-the-art mini-pleat construction techniques
with superior reliability to deliver maximum value. The media
pack consists of a continuous sheet of the pleated glass microfiber
that is moisture resistant and does not support the growth
of bacteria or mold. |
